What are campaigns?

Campaigns are contained universes of opted-in supporters. Every campaign is associated with its own phone number. 

Can I create multiple campaigns?

Yes. If you have different chapters or C3/C4 arms, you can create a campaign for each. This will require you to lease a seperate 10DLC or toll free number.

The benefit of creating multiple campaigns is that you can assign local area codes to those campaign phone numbers, if you choose to lease multiple 10DLCs.

Can I create multiple campaigns if I am using a short code?

No. The relationship between a campaign and a short code is 1 to 1.

In the case of short code users, we recommend assigning individual opt-in keywords to keep subscribers and their data separate. Optionally, you can lease multiple short codes if you would like to silo segments of subscribers in separate campaigns. This is the less cost-effective option, which we recommend discussing with your dedicated account manager.
