Invite your team of Content Creators to create Flows and view Reports
How do I get started as an Content Creator?
To access an existing campaign as an admin, you must first be invited.
Who can invite Content Creators?
Only an existing admin in the account can invite Content Creators.
How many Content Creators can I have in my account?
As many as you’d like! Ascend hosts an unlimited number of users, at no extra cost.
What can Content Creators access in Ascend?
The Content Creator role is great for users who will be responsible for composing messages in your account. This role is restricted from sending messages or accessing other pages in the account.
Content Creators can only access Flows and Reports. Content Creators can see these pages in all campaigns associated with your account.
Content Creators can create Flows, create Flow folders, and view and filter Reports.
Can I edit an existing admin’s access?
Yes! Click the ellipsis (...) next to the respective user and click Edit. In the user’s profile, you can update their role type
Invite Content Creators
- Click your name in the top right corner
- Select Manage Users.
- Click Add User.
- Enter your team member’s email address
Note: You can bulk invite multiple team members by adding their email addresses in the email field. - Select Content Creator from the role dropdown menu.
- Click Invite.
- Your team member(s) will receive an email invitation to signup.
Troubleshoot Content Creator invites
→ I get an error "email must be unique" when I sign up via the email invite.
Ascend only allows one account per email address. If you have an existing account with Ascend you cannot use the same email to signup again.
- If you want to use your existing email you will need your admin to deactivate your user account first or invite a different email
- Optionally, admins can make emails unique by adding a "+campaign name" to the email. For instance, if joe@example.com is not unique, make it unique by adding joe+goodtrouble@example.com. The email invite will go to joe@example.com. The user will need to enter their email as joe+goodtrouble@example.com to access the account.
